Know Me

Nana Anim‑Boateng, MA, LPC

Maybe life has been heavy for a long time, trauma you’ve never had space to unpack, grief that lingers, relationships that feel confusing or draining, or the pressure of always being “the strong one.” I work with people who are tired of holding everything together on their own. My role is to give you a place where you can slow down, breathe, and be honest about what you’re carrying.

My approach is warm, direct, and deeply person‑centered. I use CBT, DBT, Acceptance‑Based work, and trauma‑informed care to help you understand your patterns, build healthier boundaries, and make sense of your story. I love integrating creativity and, when it’s meaningful to you, your values or faith. I’m here to support you without judgment and to walk with you at a pace that feels safe.

As a Ghanaian American therapist, I value identity, culture, and the unique experiences that shape who we are. I especially enjoy working with women and people of color, and I strive to create a space where you feel seen, believed, and genuinely cared for. I also have experience supporting individuals who live with symptoms like hallucinations or delusional thinking, and I approach that work with steadiness and compassion.

If you’re looking for a therapist who will show up authentically, hold space for your truth, and help you move toward healing and clarity, I’m here. You don’t have to navigate life alone, we can figure it out together.
